seein' green.

Mossimo black tee.  AE destroyed shorts. Jeffrey Campbell leopard wedge. Louis Vuitton bag.

Cruising down Harlem just off 55 had us headed to an entirely different destination, but  a sharp right turn landed us in a deserted parking lot with a lime backdrop for some pretty snazzy pics!  Totally random, yet totally perfect.  Kept the outfit purely simple in a comfy tee and shorts- only adding a hint of spunk with a pair of wild wedges.  The zippers on the back make them that much more desirable.  There's always that first instinct to add the color red into the ensemble,  for some reason I wasn't feeling it, or any time for that matter.  Seems a bit cliche the whole "leopard print and red".  On another note, Gucci aviators make for the best protection on extremely sunny days...most definitely not complaining, been awaiting summer for some time now.  Only in Chicago do you get this bizarre weather.  Can't wait for the Fourth, fireworks are my fave!

innocent sophistication.

Zara suede slingback pumps. AE jeans. Mossimo shirt. Hype clutch.
Suede [light-colored] shoes can ultimately make for a great disaster but once in a blue moon you find that pair you can't pass up...exhibit A...who knew such simple elegance can be so rad?!

crowning my free spirit.

weaving a wreath...

...almost done

finishing touches

double in brass by the lake and stars chiffon strappy dress.  givenchy booties.  mossimo fedora.

I weaved my first floral wreath when I was about ten years old.  My cousin Ula taught me in Poland.  I'll never forget the field of wild flowers right outside her home in Muszyna. It was the most beautiful, color-rich arrangement.  Stopped by a local park and noticed a field of white clovers, determined to re-create a memory.  I see I haven't lost my touch :)

Made a quick detour to Target on our way home, only to find a classic piece! Completely stoked I came up on a bargain, I had to snap a shot.  As Jessica would say, it's "*fedorable".

blurry blue.

natasha turban headband
I can't get enough of this headband I swapped at Henri Bendel.  Had the hardest time deciding between this royal blue and the black.  Obvi the black would have been way more practical but this color was just to die for.   Honestly, it makes me feel totally unstoppable, in a hippie, egyptian type-way? Yes.  haha.   It's definitely a head-turner but hey- if you feel you can rock it...there's really no point in not going all out.

rock on loves!
