One word for this dress: extraordinary.

The sparkle in the fabric made you feel like an ice-skating princess, while the deep v-neck sparked a bit of risque.  Not to mention the unbelievable detail in the jewel embellishment.  The slit on the bottom mirrored the plunge at the top- who knew such a tiny detail can add so much.  A clenched waist separated the drape in the sleeves and flow at the bottom, establishing body in the most comfortable way.  Kept it simple with no jewelry, accessorizing only with the clutch.

A stroll under chicago is much more different than one on Michigan Ave.  Though minus the luxury of high-end retail shops and restaurants, you still feel an appreciation for the underworld.  Blocks of broken concrete, painted graffiti walls, hungry pigeons and flashes of light ultimately send a message of art on its own.  Love my new Givenchy booties I swapped on sale, can't wait to rock them with a floral chiffon spring dress.  For that matter, I can't wait for spring in general!  BTW I have to say these are the most comfortable corduroys I have ever worn.  I picked them up at a vintage shop almost 10 years ago...sometimes you just know when not to get rid of something...

This scarf is incredible! Not only does it feel amazing, the print and colors are absolutely breathtaking. It's also super long, which is a total plus! It was quite frustrating deciding between this scarf and another...so I ended up with both.  You'll be seeing that awesomeness shortly.

PS. Went to the Chi auto show today and let me just say Lexus killed it! Totally obsessed with the LS600hL  (macadamia only)

To a wonderful evening at Leopold, celebrating Tom's 24th.  A bitter winter walk on Chicago Ave. (west side) stumbling upon a hidden brick graffiti wall.  Props to the awesome electric green cross light [entrance to Leopold], which took us forever to find might actually be an understatement.  Kisses for the birthday boy and Happy [belated] Valentine's Day!
